Argh! The weather forecast is frightful. "Blizzard developing this evening. Snowfall amount 5 to 10 cm. Wind northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 increasing to 50 gusting to 80 this evening. Low minus 18. Wind chill minus 33". It seems storms are the rule this week, around the world. But my heart goes out to all those in Japan today and in the days to come as they try to recover from their worst recorded earthquake. So much loss and suffering. It makes our late winter blizzard seem rather tame by comparison. There really is no comparison.
This afternoon, I'll be busy preparing for brunch here tomorrow, recognizing that it may not happen as planned, depending on driving conditions in the morning. Hopefully, it won't have to be postponed but, if it must, we'll arrange to get together as soon as possible.
Yes as bad it gets weather wise, all our hearts go out to Japan and thankful there was no real damage in BC especially your Tofino beach. Hopefully your get together will go as planned.
